| Description | This article presents evaluation study of Czech part of the international project "Social Experimentation for Active Aging" (VS/2010/0045) focused on support of people above 50. Aim of the Czech part is to develop and evaluate, by the means of action research, a small scale project focused on support of enterprise of unemployed above 50. Project was conducted in cooperation with RILSA, South Bohemian chamber of commerce and Employment office in Ceske Budejovice. The project consists of activities supporting target group motivation, educational training, individual consulting and workshops. Compared to control group, effect on starting the business was reached, whilst effect on employment as such was not significant. According to program participants and implementers, there was an additional effect of the program in terms of human and social capital enhancement. |
