| Description | World economy went until 2007 through dynamic growth. Since end of this year in the USA has started an economic recession which impacted all economic indicators, including situation on labour market. Gradually, this recession has spread to all developed countries in the world, to the Czech Republic it came circa in the middle of 2008 and the situation on the labour market between 2008 and 2009 changed significantly. These changes are obvious on fall of job vacancies, increase of the number of job seekers and thus increase of the rate of unemployment. In 2010 many experts talk about the ending of the economic recession which is reflected in a number of statistical indicators (e.g. GDP). However, labour market responds to economic development always with some delay as was evidenced also by the results of „employment survey in the South-Moravian region“ which was made at the beginning of 2011. Aim of this survey is to evaluate development of employment and unemployment and also expectation of employers into next year – in this case into 2011. Comparison of real situation and expectations on labour market with emphasis on processing industry of South-Moravian region was the main aim of this article. |
