Werner and Demo Gave Their Public Lectures
Both MUNI Award in Science and Humanities candidates gave their public lectures. Norbert Werner in the field of astrophysics, Gabriel Demo in structural biology.
Norbert Werner was the first to give a lecture. In his research, he focuses on the field of astrophysics and therefore talked about how to build up space-based high-energy astrophysics. At the end of the lecture, he mentioned that Brno has ideal conditions for the development of this research, so he would like to relocate. Gabriel Demo followed with a crosstalk between transcription and translation and focused on a topic from the field of structural biology.
