Do I lose student benefits during a break in my studies?
At the time of the interruption, you cease to be a student and therefore have no obligations or rights in your studies. For example, you cannot take exams, attend classes, seminars, computer labs or the canteen. Nor can you be accommodated in a dormitory or benefit from a housing grant. But you can visit libraries, for example, because they are open to the public.
Only one right remains, that of re-enrolment after the period of interruption. In the case of two or more concurrent studies, you cease to be a student when all of them are interrupted.
