About us

The society was established by the initiative of archaeology students from ÚAM FF MU at the turn of the year 2016/2017. Its main goal is to raise awareness about archaeological activity in public (professional and above all general public). For this purpose, we organize and co-organize different thematic events (as International Day of Archaeology, Night of scientists of Archaeology for everyone) for almost two years. We also conduct lectures in high schools and in the future, we would like to extend our activities to elementary schools. In the meantime, the smallest of our activities are excursions (the last one was dedicated to The Battle of the Three Emperors at Austerlitz).
