Association premises on Komenský náměstí

Do you need to meet or organize a small event? Take advantage of the new facilities designed just for societies and clubs. There are four rooms suitable for different purposes. Just choose and make a reservation.

How do I book a club room?

Reserving the club premises is easy. After logging into your Office 365 account, you create a new event in your Outlook calendar and select the room you're interested in from the list of rooms. Reservations for association spaces may only be made by authorized association/club representatives.

Detailed booking instructions

1. Logging into Calendar in Office 365

            You can use the web interface at outlook.office.com/calendar

2. New event

  • When you open the calendar, create a new event.

3. Event details

  • Enter the name, date and time of the event for which you want to book the room. Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance.

4. Choice of room

  • Start typing the name of the room in the venue field and choose from the options.
  • Room names: club room, club office 1, club office 2
  • If you have entered a time, you will see if the room is available (Available).

5. Send to calendar

  • After adding the venue, click on the Send symbol. This will save the event and book the selected room.

Confirmation of reservation

A confirmation will be sent to your school email and the booking will appear in your Outlook calendar and your room calendar. If you do not use the room, be sure to cancel the reservation.

You often ask

Is it also possible to book spaces at the weekend?

Reservations for the weekend are possible, but cannot be made via the Outlook calendar. In this case, please contact the coordinators directly at koordinator@spolky.muni.cz with your reservation request.

Why was the reservation denied?

  • You have attempted to make a reservation for a time outside the opening hours of the premises.
  • You tried to make a reservation earlier than 30 days in advance.
  • You were trying to create a recurring event.

How do I cancel a reservation?

Delete the created event in your Outlook calendar (web interface) or delete the venue in the event.

Are you also looking for storage space?

The storage rooms are located at the back of the Society House. They are used for storing the belongings of the associations. There are three rooms where everything that is needed can be stored. The largest storage room has a sink. Access to these rooms is only possible with a member of the Coordination Team of the Societies Platform. Please email koordinator@spolky.muni.cz ideally at least two days in advance.
