TGM Grants and "Quickgrants" supporting student activities

  • The aim of the TGM Grants is to provide professional, financial and material support for student projects focused on the development of democracy and civil society in the Czech Republic. Projects responding to the current social situation and supporting international cooperation are welcome. TGM Grants are announced once a year and students have approximately 17 months to prepare and implement their projects.
  • The TGM Grants allow for debates, lectures, meetings, exhibitions, screenings, festivals, competitions, concerts, happenings, conferences, workshops, internships,
    publications or research projects.
  • TGM grants are awarded in the amount of CZK 4,000-20,000 per project. The funds come from membership fees of SAPMU members and donations from alumni and friends of Masaryk University.
For smaller projects, so-called "SAPMU Rychlogranty" with a budget of up to CZK 4,000 are available.
  • The aim of the SAPMU Quick Grants is to provide immediate professional, financial and material support for student activities, socially beneficial ideas and small projects that cannot be supported by the TGM grant. SAPMU Fast Grants can be applied for throughout the year during semesters and students have 3 months to implement them.
SAPMU budgets a total amount of 50 000 CZK for both types of grants. This corresponds to about 2-3 larger TGM grants and several fast grants. We will keep you informed on this page about the specific spending or increases
