University measures taken regarding COVID-19
- MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The risk assessment level is currently WHITE. It is not compulsory to wear respirators in all MU buildings.
- All covid-19 policies related to entering the country have been suspended. See also current restrictions in the Czech Republic.

MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The university currently has a “WHITE LIGHT” rating, determined by the MU Crisis Board. University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Follow the websites of individual faculties and the colour-coded signs hanging on the exteriors of MU buildings.

Foreigners can now take Czech exam at MU
This year, Masaryk University became an official examination centre for the Czech as a Foreign Language exam, which foreigners need in order to obtain permanent residence in the Czech Republic. This makes it one of four places in the South Moravian Region where the exam can be taken.

International MU graduates debate at Czeducon
Last week, Czeducon, a conference on internationalisation in higher education, took place in Brno, attended by over 500 representatives of Czech and universities from abroad. The evening programme included Alumni talks with international graduates from Masaryk.

Košatková and Toul receive education minister awards
Masaryk University has won two more prestigious awards. The Minister of Education’s awards for higher education, science and research went to the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Science.
