Once Masaryk University's Teaching Faculty (PedF MU) has changed its structure to a two tier university education model, this subject will be compulsory for the students of the MA course 'Teaching French Language and Literature at Primary Schools', and students of the BA course 'Teaching Foreign Languages – French Language'. E-learning study material will be created for this project which will be available from the PedF MU moodle system. This will then be used as support material for both the full time and correspondence courses and will also be used in co-operation with other institutions (eg Jiří Mahen Library in Brno). One necessary purchase for this will be an interactive blackboard. Use of the interactive blackboard during classes, and while working on their projects, should increase the students' ITC competency and prepare them for their future teaching jobs. Systematic use of the interactive blackboard for teaching other subjects of the department will be in line with the contemporary teaching trends of PedF MU. The project also allows for a budget to purchase primary and secondary literature from the range of Francophone literature for children and young people, which will increase the professionalism of the students not only from this department but also from the whole faculty and university.
