The project is based on the conclusions of EC summit in Stockholm, 2001, which discussed strategies for achieving competitive European knowledge-economics. Furthermore it draws from decree No. 1267/2000 of Chamber of Deputies of Czech Republic on supporting small and medium enterprises and on necessary novelization of act No. 301/92 about agro- and business chambers. The aim of the project put forth is to contribute to development of institutional structure and to increase efficiency of business self-administration, in relationship with the emergent of regional self-government and with reformation of public administration and in context with preparation of entrance in the EU. The project conforms also with the efforts of Wirtschaftskammer Niederösterreich to link mutual cooperation on regional level.
