Účelem projektu je vybudovat regionální VaV centrum v oblasti nízkonákladových nanotechnologických povrchových úprav schopné pružně reagovat na poptávku aplikační sféry a to především malých a středních podniků (MSP) a poskytovat praktická řešení technologických problémů pro průmyslové partnery z podstatné časti sektorů průmyslu v ČR. V dlouhodobém horizontu je vizí projektového týmu vybudovat Centrum, které bude vyhledávaným VaV partnerem i pro velké nadnárodní společnosti.
