The aim of the present project is to offer to all academic sites direct on-line access to Literature Online - world's biggest database of full texts of works from the English and American literatures. Literature Online is a collection of 18 databases offering the full text of 260,000 literary texts in unified format and with unified search software. In addition, it includes two essential bibliographies and the full version of 30 scholarly magazines. These electronic resources will enable scholars from the fields of English and American literature, linguistics and translation studies to apply new methodology, and will also compensate for the insufficient library resources. The nature of the license agreement enables to reach large numbers of users leading to high efficiency; the resources will be available for research to University teachers as well as pre-graduate, graduate and doctoral students.
