The task of this work is to involve in a complexity all attributes of monetary development in Morava in the 13th century not only in the currency and coin sphere but also in the development of monetary contact and its organization. The presumption is the scientific evaluation of still unprocessed coin treasures with thousands of pieces of coinages from various Moravian districts. These demonstrate the extensive coin production in Moravia at the time of the industrial and social transformation conditiona l on new forms of industrial and mercantile life, the transformation of market places in settlements round a castle into some municipal units and the movement of colonization. The important sources for the solution of this issue are also some literary re sources, especially coin charters, contracts concerning coin-lease, various documents, prescripts and contracts with related data of payments, monetary rations etc. In these continuities it is also necessary to be engaged in the findings of silver ore in
