Ars dictaminis in vernacular between Bologna, Florence, Venice and beyond.
Beside the largest works such as those of Guido Fava (or Faba), Brunetto Latini, Bono Giamboni and Matteo dei Libri, which have been largely studied, a number of anonymous collections remain little known (published in non-scientific XIX century editions based on a single manuscript) or not known at all (never printed). The aim of this research project is to shade light on such texts.
