Description The aim is to describe ways of expressing the alcohol content in beverages, with the focusing on content by weight, which is usually used in the evaluation of individual consumption. Labeling of main types of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine a spirits) is described, in relation to alcohol content. Tables for estimating alcohol content are presented, enabling also estimation of number of “alcohol units” (each 10 g of ethanol).
