| Description | The fourth part of Atlas of German Dialects in the area of Czech Republic (ADT) is devoted to the development of middle-upper German consonants. This development is depicted in 156 phonetic maps. Discovered pronunciation variants of examined consonants and their distribution in examined territory are explained in map commentaries. The division of the examined area into 23 partial areas was used for easier orientation. During the compilation of individual maps, phonic surroundings of a consonant using colours and additional symbols was accounted for. |
