Description | Raw food is presently a famous alternative dietary lifestyle which derives its principles from veganism, excluding additionally the (thermal) processing of food. The aim of this article is to summarize the knowledge about this topic up to now, to describe its' strenghts and weaknesses regarding certain groups of consumed food and draw the potential consequences of raw food diet on human health with the assessment of related nutritional risks. |
