Description The Czech legislation on individual forms of performance of dependent work always explicitly mentions the mandatory condition of the venue of work or stand-by time. The emphasis placed by the texts of current laws on the explicit determination of the place of emergency is the danger that disputes will arise over the remuneration of the emergency in the field of service and employment. Both the Ombudsperson and the Advocate General EU have put forward rational arguments as to why there would no longer be any need to insist on the venue unconditionally. In addition, this trend is also appropriate in the current situation of the ongoing pandemic spread of the COVID-19, where a member or employee cannot often determine where to spend time away from work or service, even in the short term, given the need to respect the quarantine measures of their relatives.
