Description In alignment with UNESCO's commitment to promoting inclusive and quality education for sustainable development (SDG4), this session invites to explore the integration of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) into formal and non-formal education systems and the possibilities of their fruitful creative interactions. Engaging presentations of innovative approaches and projects from Czechia, Greece, Norway, Poland, and Slovakia will highlight valuable insights into methods used to support and inspire the transmission of ICH-related knowledge within educational settings. Participants will explore innovative strategies and initiatives, including curriculum design and classroom practices, game applications, digital technologies, and online tools to transmit ICH-related knowledge within educational contexts. They´ll present experiences from their collaboration with the ASPNet schools, aspects of implementing teaching and learning with living heritage, teachers' projects about focusing on living heritage in urban environments and examples of state education institutions responsible for including ICH in the school curricula. Project presentations aim to enhance both students' and teachers' understanding and appreciation of ICH by emphasising cross-cultural collaborations and community engagement models.
