Description | The article investigates the starting points, beginning, progression, contemporary conceptions and research orientation of German sport pedagogy. Based on an analysis of an extensive spectrum of documents and personal empiricism the author describes this important component of sport science as an independent, precisely determined and in procedural and institutional tendencies fully formed science discipline that sets very extensive and relevant goals. German sport pedagogy pursues the aims typical for a modern empirical science (primarily representative research of sport education) and simultaneously - and here is German sport pedagogy in the world context special - the particular goals for normative science (continual searching for the signification and optimal aims of human sport education). German sport pedagogy currently strives for humanization and cultivation of present sports, as a gigantic social and cultural phenomenon. |
