| Description | The terapeutic goal in primary prevention is blood pressure (BP) below 140/90 mmHg. In patients with high cardivascular risk below 130/80 mmHg and in older patients with systoloic hypertension below 150/90 mmHg. The patients with increased pulse pressure have high risk of developing stroke and atrial fibrilation. In this patients is recommended tretment wit combination of sartane (telmisartane) and diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide). |
