Ukrainian scientist to join expedition to MU Antarctic station
This year’s Masaryk University expedition to Antarctica will have 23 members divided into two teams. Part of the expedition will head to Johann Gregor Mendel Czech Antarctic Station, where they will spend about two months, while a smaller team of nine people will work on Nelson Island for over two weeks.

MU puts into practice patent to solve infertility
Cross-border cooperation between three universities and one start-up brought Masaryk University significant success in technology transfer at the end of the year 2022. A contract worth 441,000 euros will enable a new technology to be put into practice that significantly increases the success rate of assisted reproduction.

ISAB members recognised MU activities
Following the example of other world universities, Masaryk University has established its own International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB). The body of international scientific advisors increases the prestige of the university and brings a much-needed outside perspective.

We participate in key infrastructures
MU Research infrastructures are an important pillar of research and innovation systems.
Their significance is emphasized by our participation in 14 projects listed in the Czech National Roadmap for Large RDI Infrastructures.
Eleven of these projects are also part of research infrastructures of pan-European interest included in the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) for 2021.
