What is the state final exam?
The State Final Examination (SFE) is the official end of studies and consists of two parts: the defence of the Bachelor's or Master's thesis and the subject part. The individual subject examinations are written, oral or a combination of both; the defence is always oral.
Articles 22–26 of the MU Study and Examination Regulations regulate everything about the state examinations. In general, by registering for the SFE, you are registering for all parts of the SFE in the given field.
