13.00: The Rector of Masaryk University cancelled all teaching at the University of the Third Age.
University measures taken regarding COVID-19
- MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The risk assessment level is currently WHITE. It is not compulsory to wear respirators in all MU buildings.
- All covid-19 policies related to entering the country have been suspended. See also current restrictions in the Czech Republic.

University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Irena Radová to become new Dean of the MU Faculty of Arts
Irena Radová, head of the Department of Classical Studies at Masaryk University’s Faculty of Arts, was elected as the new Dean of the Faculty on 10 January. In a secret ballot, she received more votes than Markéta Kulhánková, her competitor for the job.
