Description | Global competences are essential for a cosmopolitan world that is no more separated into national unity. The cosmopolitanism theory suggested four prominent roles in education: reflexivity, intercultural dialogue, hospitality, and transaction of perspectives (Spector, 2014). This study focuses on defining global competencies through the attitude of student teachers and professional teachers at pedagogical faculties or universities. Global competences play an important role in teacher preparation. The results show the perception and implementation of global competences in students teachers' curriculum in the Czech Republic and Ukraine. |
