How to keep in touch with your teacher?
At a time when you don’t meet teachers regularly face to face in lectures and seminars it is all the more important to try to keep in touch in other ways. Of course, it is not possible to fully replace a face-to-face chat and a reciprocated smile and greeting, but even so, try not to skip communication with teachers entirely.
You are in this together
Don’t be afraid to ask. This situation is new for your teachers as well, and they are trying to make it work somehow. Lecturing in front of fifty people while only seeing yourself on the screen is not exactly a teacher’s dream. Therefore, every teacher will appreciate it if you ask a question during a distance lecture and help maintain activity and dialogue. The only stupid question is the one you do not ask.
Consult remotely
Don’t be afraid to contact your teacher outside of class. Your teachers may not have standard office hours, but don’t be afraid to contact them by e-mail and ask what you want, or arrange an online consultation.
