Proposed project is continuation of a very productive cooperation between the Institute of Physical Biology University of South Bohemia and the Loschmidt Laboratories at Masaryk University. This cooperation has started in 2006 within the project of Centre for Biocatalysis and Biotransformation LC06010 supported by the Czech Ministry of Education. This project has yielded 7 joint impacted publications and more than 30 conference contributions during the past 6 years. Moreover, 5 Ph.D. theses will be finished during 2010-2013. To keep high standard for this running collaboration, we would like to continue with the research project in the framework of GACR project named “Structure-Functional Relationships of Haloalkane Dehalogenases“.
